How to Ship Your Repair

A few minutes of packing saves days of back-and-forth.

  1. Request a repair before you ship

Fill out the repair request form, or call or text (813) 390-1062. You'll get an RMA number. Don't ship until we reply that it's OK to send it in. We'll confirm we work on your unit, check that parts are available, and give you a realistic turnaround.

  2. Put your request in the box

Print the packing slip from your repair request and put it in the box, and write your RMA number on the outside. No printer? Write it out and include:

    • Your RMA number
    • Your name, company, phone number and email
    • The return shipping address
    • Make and model of the unit (and serial number if you can see one)
    • What's wrong: what it does or doesn't do, when it happens, any lights or error codes
    • What you've already tried (cables swapped, another receiver, etc.)
    • Your PO number, if your company needs one on the invoice
  3. Pack it well

    • Use a sturdy box with at least 2 inches of padding (bubble wrap or foam) on every side. Packing peanuts alone let parts shift.
    • Lasers travel best in their hard case, packed inside a shipping box.
    • Remove batteries from lasers and remotes unless we ask for them.
    • Tape or cap open connectors so the pins don't get bent.
    • Send only the unit that needs repair. Keep cables, mounts and masts unless we ask for them. (We don't repair cables or remotes; we build new replacements.)
  4. Ship it to us
